The Royal Rumble Match
Rules of the Match: The bout starts off with two men. Every 90 seconds, another competitor will enter the bout until all 30 men have entered the match. The only way to be eliminated from the match is to be thrown over the top rope and have both feet touch the floor of the arena. This can happen at any time during the bout regardless of how many people are in the ring. The winner of this match will earn a title shot at WrestleMania XXVIII.
WWE Championship Match Featuring John Laurinaitis as the Special Guest Referee: Champion CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler
Events leading to this match: Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis and CM Punk have been at odds with one another for months. Dolph Ziggler earned a title shot against CM Punk a few weeks ago by pinning Punk in a Gauntlet Match. Their title match on RAW ended with Dolph beating the champion by count out due to John Laurinaitis "accidentally" pulling the ropes down which caused Punk to fall out of the ring. For this bout, both Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger have been banned from ringside as a result of CM Punk earning a controversial victory over Swagger duing a recent bout on RAW.
Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Rules of the match: The ring will be surrounded by a 15-foot high steel cage. A wrestler can win this bout by pin fall, submission, or by escaping the cage and having both feet touch the arena floor. The champion does not have to be involved in the deciding pin fall in order to lose the title.
Events leading to this match: At TLC, Mark Henry lost the title to the Big Show in a Chairs Match. Following the match, Mark Henry beat up the new champion. Seconds after that, Daniel Bryan cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot and easily won the title from Big Show. In recent weeks, championship bouts for both of the contenders in this match have ended in a no contest.
John Cena vs. Kane
Events leading to this match: Kane despises John Cena's "Rise Above Hate" t-shirt. Kane has beaten up both John and his friend Zack Ryder in an attempt to get John to embrace the hate which a vocal portion of the WWE Universe spews at John Cena every week.
