Episode Notes
This episode was somewhat of a pilot for a later spin-off of Walker, Texas Ranger. James Wlcek and Marco Sanchez would become frequent recurring guests up until 1999 when they gained their own show as their characters Trent Malloy and Carlos Sandoval. That show was Sons of Thunder.

Episode Goofs
When Trent arrives at his the chapel where his mom is saying goodbye to his father, some of his Army uniform decorations are misplaced. Most notably, his Air Assault badge is on his pocket, not with his Airborne badge above his ribbons where it is supposed to be pinned.
