Among the list of auction house employees are Vince Nyuli, Franchie Pir, and John Connell. They are series' Location Manager, Key Hairstylist, and Set Decorator, respectively. Many other people on the list such as Jak Oliver, Allision Mondesir, James Blacker, Rick Jang, and Kari Measham are also uncredited crew.

The Kraken is the Greek monster featured in the 1981 movie Clash of the Titans and the 2010 remake. A character in each movie states this line, and it was featured heavily in the promotions for the remake.

Pete misquotes the famous last line from the movie Chinatown (1974). The line is actually, "Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown."

Pete quotes the tag line of Ron Burgundy from the movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004).
