In South Bend, IN, Pete and Myka go to the apartment of a collector, Barry Byck, who explains that he's grown three inches since he updated his dating profile. He complained when things got painful and his joints started aching. The agents discuss the situation privately and wonder if Artie just wanted them out of the warehouse on a wild goose chase. However, when they turn back to Barry, they discover that he is growing as they watch. They contact Leena, who sends them the name of Lisa Bernardo, who has also reported a sudden growth spurt while cooking at a church. As they check on Lisa and Leena calls them with another report, the woman screams in pain as her limbs starts stretching...

Episode Quotes
Artie: It's got be an artifact. Adults don't have growth spurts. No short jokes, no fat jokes. No age jokes.
Pete: Then I got nothing.

Myka: So what about, um, Paul Bunyan's axe or David's slingshot?
Pete: Or how 'bout a magical bag of beans?
Artie: We got the axe. We got the slingshot. The beans? Please. That's just a fairytale.
Pete: Well, it's good to know where we draw the line.

(to Artie)
Claudia: Did it mayhaps occur to you that we don't need protecting?
Steven: I was ATF. I raided heavily armed compounds for a living, not to mention that I've already died on this job.
Claudia: Yeah, and I was bodyjacked by Alice because of this.
Steven: Really? You're gonna compare that to dying?
Claudia: Focus.

Artie: I'm sorry. Thank you.
Claudia: I'm sorry and thank you in the same sentence. Keep your eye out for the Four Horsemen.
Steve: It turns out the Mayans were right.

Artie: I--I was afraid that you were buried alive again.
Claudia: What?
Artie: Uh, what?
Claudia: Again?
Artie: Why do you only listen to me when I don't want you to?

Claudia: Breathe, Obi-Wan, we heard you.
