Episode discussion for: 03x12 | The Greatest Gift (Dec 06, 2011)

Great episode! I don't understand the low rating. Eddie McClintock was at his best with Pete, and the scene at the end with Mrs. Frederic was priceless.

Must be a lot of people like me that never seem to watch even though I like the show. I cannot explain this except to guess that maybe I like the idea better than the show itself.

I was defn NOT a fan of the first few eps - the pairing of a by-the-books gal and the fly-by-seat-of-his-pants guy feelings like a poor-mans Bones teamup. It was only when Claudia joined in ep4 that this series really took off and became a right fav.

by-the-books gal and fly-by-seat-of-his-pants guy is a Hollywood staple. It puts me in mind of Moonlighting with Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd
