Vehement v. Vigorous - Recap

The scene opens with Silas talking to Nancy and he says that he borrowed a van from Hilya to transport the drugs. She tells that she told Silas to rent a U-Haul truck. Al comes in and tells Nancy that she is talking on an illegal cell phone. Nancy hangs up and Al tells that Shelby gave him his two-week’s notice and that he has two weeks to get his job back. He says that he is going to be on her at all times. Nancy shows a note from her boss that the Softball game is mandatory. Meanwhile, Andy has his Coppenheagan Wheel shop set up and he talks to the other business owners. Nancy comes in and asks what is going on. She tells that this is a cover business and that they should get rid of them. She asks why Shane is there and Andy says that since it is his money, he wants to stay. She goes up to him and says that he needs to be in college. He says that he is looking after his investment. She asks where Silas is and he says that he is in the back acting crazy.

She goes in the back room and Silas says that he has a plan where they are going to be big and be able to be at the top of the game. She tells that is not possible right now. Silas says that Hilya says that they have to take the chance. She tells that Silas should be selling the supply and get going on it. Silas give her a pound of weed and tells her that she can sell that portion. She tells Silas to get some sleep, but he says that he has a meeting later and has to be alert. She tells him to at least brush his hair. She leaves and goes to the softball game. She gives weed to a co-worker who asks her if she is the new Denny. She says that the weed is called MILF and that she is. Nancy tells Andy that Silas wants to start to fast and go big. Andy says that there is nothing wrong with that and that he has big dreams. Nancy talks about the business front and says that Andy can’t go too big with it either. Doug comes over sweating and says that he is on steroids for his kidney. His boss comes over and tells him that they need him. Nancy sees that Al has shown up.

Meanwhile, Shane meets with the Detective that was at his school in a parking garage. He is in the back of the car with two prostitutes. Silas meets with the model agent and they are at a boxing each other. Silas says that he needs dealers for his drug business. She tells that she will help him, but only if he boxes. Back at the softball game, Nancy sees two men in suits watching her. The CEO comes up to Nancy and she admits that she is a drug dealer. He says that he needs a 3rd baseman and says that she needs to play or he will have her arrested. Shane thinks that the Detective is a dirty cop and he says that they are informants for information. However, he says that there are perks. He walks off with one of the prostitutes and the other one asks Shane if he wants a quickie. Back at the game, a man comes up to Al and Andy and asks if he is the “guy”. Andy says that he isn’t. Al asks if Andy knows Doug Wilson. Andy says that he doesn’t. Al tells Andy that he got fired, but has 2 weeks to get tough. Andy says that they need to stand up and take charge of their lives and not let Nancy-Shaped Characters stand in their way.

In the ring, Silas is told that he has to lose the fight and then she will have 15 dealers ready for him. He agrees, but when the other guy calls Silas a “momma’s boy”, he snaps and wins the fight. Back at the softball game, the CEO goes up to Nancy and asks her how she got the job in the first place. Nancy asks if the man is married and they both don’t have anyone. She tells that she likes him. The game is over and she asks who won. The CEO says that he is not sure. Back with Shane and the prostitute and talks about the student loans. She tells that she is forgetting hooking and going to school. Shane tells the Detective that he is in school loan scams and he says that he wants Shane to work and get class credit. Silas apologizes to the model agent and she tells that she will make an exception because he was so good.

Back at the game, Doug is throwing things around and his boss comes up and Doug is upset and says that his name is Douglas Wilson. Al comes up and Doug thinks that he is Marvin and asks if he is still dealing weed with Nancy. Doug says that he is on steroids. Nancy goes up to the two men in suits and they tell that they are from the SCC. They say that the company is involved in a Ponzi Scheme and that as a secretary, she can help them out. They say that they will get her out of the Halfway House. Al comes up and says that Nancy is under his authority, but they tell that she isn’t anymore. The episode ends with Nancy going over to Dmitry’s and she tells that she is back in the game. He points her head to the bathroom where Zora is standing in a towel.
