Only Judy Can Judge - Recap

The episode begins with Nancy swimming naked in a swimming pool, in the middle of the night. She then sneaks back into the house, wearing nothing but a hooded shirt. Nancy later decides to take Stevie to the zoo, despite Jill insistence that Stevie is a runner and Nancy might not be able to keep up. Jill suggests that the whole family go to the zoo, but Nancy insists that she wants some alone time with Stevie. Shane meanwhile is practicing using a baton, while in the bathroom. Just then Silas walks in. Silas tells Shane how he can one day bust him. Shane though, insists that he will never bust Silas.

Later, Shane tells Nancy that he is looking up directions to the zoo. She in turn reminds him that they still need to talk about him joining the police academy. She tells him that it’s a very dangerous profession and on any given day he could be shot. Shane in turn reminds her that he has already been shot. Kiki meanwhile calls Silas, and asks to talk to his mother. She then tells Nancy that, she is at a dealer, but she is not finding the business environment at the dealer’s, healthy. She then requests Nancy to come there. Nancy in turn tells her that she can’t as she is going to spend the day with Stevie. Kiki then asks about a variety of hash called ‘Bubble Hash’ that the dealer is trying to sell her. Nancy strictly asks Kiki not to buy it, but due to a poor cell phone network, Kiki is unable to hear this.

Nancy then loses Kiki’s connection. Nancy later asks Jill to look after Stevie and take him to the zoo, while she heads to help Kiki out. Meanwhile Shane, while making out with his girlfriend asks her to come home for dinner. Silas meanwhile meets a guy named RJ, who works part-time at a gardening store, and helps Silas with a solution that can help him grow weed better. Meanwhile Nancy has arrived at the dealer’s place. She tells him that, Kiki shall be leaving now. He in turn tells Nancy that, Kiki has promised she shall be buying some of his products. Kiki immediately denies making any such promise, which enrages the dealer. Nancy then tells the guy “we are not hash people, it’s a taste thing”. She then asks Kiki why she simply didn’t call Dmitri.

Kiki informs her that, Dmitri refused to sell to her. Nancy then offers the dealer prescription pain killers, in order for him to let them go. He in turn tells her that, he doesn’t want pills as they are addictive. He instead takes Nancy’s cane, in order to let them go. Later the two meet up with Dmitri, while he is busy playing laser tag with his guys. She tells Dmitri that she was shot, and shows him the wound on her head, that has now healed. She then asks Dmitri to sell weed to Kiki, as she needs it. Dmitri tells Nancy that, even if he can arrange for the weed, Kiki wouldn’t be able to afford it. Nancy then assures Dmitri that, he shall get cash up front and on time for his weed. She tells him it’s the best offer he is going to get.

Dmitri then agrees to deal with her. Jill meanwhile is unhappy about the fact that, Andy is planning to cook for Nancy. She tells Andy; now that Nancy is back he can’t help but be in love with Nancy once again. Andy doesn’t outright deny this allegation, and instead tells Jill that she and he have a good thing going and she shouldn’t ruin it. Andy meanwhile spray paints the neighbor’s dog for defecating on the porch. The neighbor is livid and gets a cop to take action against Andy. The cop though tells the neighbor that he can’t do anything, as it isn’t illegal to spray paint a dog. RJ meanwhile checks out Silas’s weed farm in the garage. Shane meanwhile comes in to get a ladder from the garage.

Silas later shocks RJ by telling him that Shane is in the police academy. RJ then tells Silas that once Shane has a badge and a gun, the power might get to his head, and he might act against Silas. Silas tries to laugh the whole thing off, but is visibly worried. Later at dinner, Shane introduces his girlfriend Angela to Nancy. At the dinner table Silas taunts Shane, and tells Angela how Shane sucked at gym class. He then drops hints about what the family profession is. Nancy meanwhile raises a toast to her sons, but mistakenly ends up calling Stevie, Judah. When this is brought to her attention, she denies it. The dinner then goes for a toss with Silas and Shane having their differences, and Jill and Andy too having their differences.

Later Nancy tells Andy in tears how she forgot Stevie’s name. Andy consoles her by saying “your brain is still reorganizing itself”. Later Stevie and Nancy take a dip in the pool together, in the middle of the night. Doug is meanwhile shocked to find from a hidden camera footage that, it was he who defecated on the porch, while sleep walking. The episode ends at this point.
