Red in Tooth and Claw - Recap

The episode begins with Nancy reading a book lying in bed, while having an apple. She is then startled by a loud thud and is informed by Doug that, a Russian has moved in downstairs with his wife. He tells her that the noise is of him cutting down all the trees in the property. Nancy meanwhile, is worried that Stevie is watching too much TV, and tells Jill about it. She tells Jill “Stevie should be playing soccer not watching it”. Nancy is then informed that Kiki had called. Nancy then tells Stevie “let’s sign you up for soccer”. Andy meanwhile suggests to Shane that, he should take his new girlfriend on a double date to alleviate the pressure, he is under.

Silas in the meanwhile comes in, he and Shane then begin to bicker and insult each other. Meanwhile, Nancy is informed that slots in the soccer team go to kids of families that are able to make sizeable donations. On hearing this Nancy tells the guy who told her this that, she will go to the local newspaper and reveal the malpractice that is taking place. On hearing this, the guy immediately agrees to free up a slot for Stevie, in the team. Shane meanwhile asks his girlfriend out on a double date. Andy meanwhile finds himself alone with a woman skating naked in a skating rink, and thanks his stars. She meanwhile offers to have sex with him. Nancy meanwhile chats with a guy, who is the parent of one of the kids playing soccer.

Stevie meanwhile creams the other kids, which is apparently not liked by some of the other fathers. They take up this issue with the coach, who tells Nancy that Stevie will be goalkeeping for the rest of the match. She reluctantly agrees to it, and then murmurs something in Stevie’s ear. Stevie then kicks a goal, despite being the goalkeeper. The coach then asks her about the donation, which she reluctantly agrees to, when informed that the father who complained, owns the newspaper. Silas meanwhile comes to know that RJ is gay, when he comes on to Silas. It creeps Silas out, and he takes off. Andy meanwhile is lying naked with the naked woman, in the skating rink.

Nancy meanwhile asks Kiki to buy her out, as “going straight costs a lot of money”. Shane’s double date meanwhile isn’t going too well. Back at home, Jill tells Andy that she misses him. She then walks up to him and kisses him. She then proceeds to give him a blowjob and sees marks on his body. She asks him about it and he honestly tells her, how he had sex with a woman who had piercings. She is visibly agitated on hearing this, but he reminds her that she broke up with him. He then tells her that, he is very close to feeling love for her, and hence the past is unimportant as they both have baggage. Jill though isn’t convinced and storms out of the room. Later Jill complains to Doug about Andy, while having sex with him. Kiki meanwhile returns all of Nancy’s pot, and tells her that “I don’t want to see this hippie drug for as long as I live”.

She also tells Nancy that there is no money. She then bids Nancy adieu, for good. Shane’s girlfriend meanwhile proceeds to give her a blowjob. Nancy meanwhile relaxes in the swimming pool, just then the owner of the pool comes in. He tells her it’s ok for her to relax in the pool. She though, apologizes and steps out of the pool. He then caringly covers her body with a towel. She then proceeds to kiss him, but he tells her “I’m a rabbi”, and stops her. He then sits her down. She then makes a few heartfelt confessions to him about her feelings, and he counsels her. She in the end tells him “I can’t keep making the same choices”. He in turn tells her “then don’t”. Silas meanwhile is shocked to find his weed plantation that he had grown in his garage, has disappeared.

He then aggressively confronts Shane about it, who tells him that, he just got back from his date. Shane then tells Silas “why don’t you ask your weirdo friend” about the plants. Andy meanwhile is shocked to find out that Jill has slept with Doug. Jill tells Andy that they are now even. Silas meanwhile runs into RJ at the shop he works in, and asks for his plants back. Nancy meanwhile, throws into the garbage her stash of pot.

RJ meanwhile tells Silas that he has gotten rid of his plants, as he could see that things would otherwise end badly for Silas, he then tells Silas “you can thank me later”. Nancy meanwhile also throws her walking stick into the garbage, and limps back home with a smile on her face. The episode ends at this point.
