SUBMISSIONS
THE BASICS
Hello, i am the new editor for Weeds. Although i am new to www.tvrage.com i am not an idiot and i will not accept garbage. That being said, all submissions sent to me must have a source. That is the number one requirement. If there is no source then i will automatically reject it. Although not everything is able to be presented with a sources, which i understand. Also in regards to episode discussion threads, i will make them on a weekly basis. I will have them stickied and the remove them once the new episode is out.
I'm a good person, if you have any questions just ask me and i will answer back as soon as i can. All submissions must have proper spelling and punctuation.
COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
I do not accept spam on any levels. Chain letters in the forum and in submissions are a no. You may think you are funny but lets see how funny a moderator thinks it is. Pictures of nudity or offensive visuals will be automatically rejected and i will report you to a moderator.
REGARDING TV.COM SUBMISSIONS
Don't Copy and Paste from www.tv.com! The only possible way that is aloud is if i get permission from the editor themselves allowing me to process this information. That means they would need to come on to this site create an account, send me a message giving me permission. I highly doubt that will happen so i just suggest getting your information from somewhere else. I constantly check tv.com. This basically means if you copy and paste their quotes for each episode then thats a no no. I will put a ban on your account from this forum. You may say "Well its a quote obviously they will be the same" That is true but if you are taking all of their quotes of each episode and sending them over here then thats a big giveaway. So unless the editor themselves gives me permission to process their information from tv.com then i will accept nothing from that site. You do not need a source for the episode summary but again if it is the same as tv.com's then it will be rejected.
FORUM RULES
I know the forums over on this site are hardly used but everyone needs rules. So on of my main concerns is when people make multiple threads. If a multiple thread is made i will delete it, if this is done on several occasions then i will kick you off the forums for 1 week. Always stay on topic! I cant stress that enough when people get off topic, if that's the case i will lock the thread. As for language i don't give a f*** what you say just..... no bashing other people on the forums. If you are caught basing anyone then it will result in a report to the moderator and a ban from the forums.
WE NEED CONTRIBUTORS
Although i am going to do my best to keep this guide in order i cant do it all my own. I am a college student and i get a lot of homework. I will need contributes for galleries, character guides, recaps stuff like that.
Regarding Spoilers
All spoilers that occur before the episode has aired are required by the law of this forum to have spoiler tags. If i see spoilers with no tags then i will immediately delete your post. Absolutely NO spoilers in topic titles. People don't want spoilers, its annoying when people get spoiled! I mean look how many people were spoiled with the Lost finale. I was and i did not want to be. Anyone who posts spoilers in the titles will be banned from posting. The length of the ban is based on what level of spoiler it was. If it was a huge secret giveaway (ie: Lost Finale) then you're gone permenantly.
ON A FINAL NOTEI want contributing to be fun for everyone and if anyone has a problem or concern with anything then please don't hesitate to let me know. That is all for now, have a nice day.
You may think I'm being a little hard but really I'm not, i don't mean to sound like a b***h or anything either. I think i came off that way while i was writing.
