Show Tidbits
In 2003 the show announced it would pay the 500,000 and 1,000,000 dollar prize in an annuity. If you won the 500,000 it would send you 250,000 dollar check and another 250,000 dollars would be sent over the course of 10 years in equal increments each year. If you won the Million you would get a check for 250,000 and over 20 years receive equal increments of 750,000 dollars. This was not so from 1999-2002 in which they would give you the money in one lump sum.
