Grace Adler, played by Debra Messing
Grace Adler is perhaps the most pathetic, miserable, awful person in the history of humanity. She is incredbly self-absorbed and neuroitc. Some of her behavior borders on psychotic. She became Will's friend in college and continues to be his best friend, even though Will has no interest in having sex with her because he is gay. She drives all of her friends crazy with her neurotic neediness. She makes everything about her from other people's lives, even if it has absolutely nothing to do with her. She is endlessly annoying. She even drives away a potential suitor (Nathan) and her eventual husband Leo with her antics. She has no compunctions about putting upon her friends, Will, Jack, and Karen to comfort her when her misguided schemes go awry. |
