After Will and Grace decide to have a baby together, obstacles pile up before them, including a missing specimen sample and bungled insemination efforts that have them teetering between artificial and natural means -- all leading to mis-conceptions. Meanwhile, when Jack considers giving up his show-business aspirations, until he gets some career advice from a "divine" entity -- his idol, Cher. Likewise, married Karen is sorely tempted by the romantic tickling of a rich and natty gentleman.

This is the last episode to have Michael Angarano as a main star.
Originally aired as a one hour episode, though syndication will usually air them in two half hour episodes. NBC counts this as one episode, as they will with any W&G episodes that air as a one hour episode. This may also include Super-Sized (40 minute episodes).
Jack's boss, Dorleen, is fired and Jack is offered a promotion to Floor Manager. After he dreams Cher telling him that show business needs him, he quits Barney's to go to an audition.
Jack: (To Elliot) You can't be here right now. We're about to have a very serious conversation that isn't appropriate for a child your age.
Elliot: Well, can I listen at the door?
Jack: ...Yeah, I think that'll be fine.
Will: You know, the female reproductive system is so amazing. It's a miracle, really. So complex. So beautiful. (Will turns the page and tosses the book onto the table.) Yow! What is that thing?! God! It looks like the bad guy in a science fiction movie.
Grace: Oh, please. Like your stuff looks like a box full of kittens? It don't.
After Grace affirms Will's assertion that Sheila "is a whore's name," the nurse says that her name is Sheila. But in Season 2's "Seed of Discontent," the same nurse has the name "Sue" clearly emblazoned on her nametag.

Andrew Rosenbach appeared in the episode "Loose Lips Sink Relationships" the "Barney's Employee" gets a name in this episode now that Jack can talk to him since he's not the hand cream guy anymore.
Laura Kightlinger also appeared in the episode "Seeds of Discontent" as the sperm bank nurse. In this episode we find out that her name is Sheila.
