It's Will's birthday and everyone is in the mood for a happy birthday celebration, although Will is a bit hesitant because he has never had a happy birthday. Now that he is in a good relationship with his new boyfriend Vince, Will decides to give his birthday a chance. Grace runs into Vince shopping and notices that he has bought Will a key chain -- in the hopes of giving Will the key to his heart or apartment, and she tells him that Will would hate the gesture. Meanwhile, Karen is depressed because Will's birthday coincides with her late husband Stan's birthday.

| This episode marks Will's 37th birthday, which for those of you counting would mean he was born in 1967.
| After 7 years, we discover that Stanley Walker's birthday is apparently the same day as Will's.

Vince: That's because she talked me out of it first.
Will: Wait a minute, she talked you out of it?
Vince: Yeah.
Will: She said Ralph talked you out of it.
Vince: Why does she do that?
Will: Yeah, why does she do anything?
Grace:i (Whispering) Because she's crazy.

| The final segment of the show was obviously taken from somewhere in the middle. We know because Karen and the others are still around.
| Does anyone else find it odd that after 7 years, we only just find out Stanley had the same birthday as Will? What happened to all the major birthday parties?
| In the Season 1 episode "Yours, Mine Or Ours", Will says he's a Scorpio, but in this episode Jack says that Will and Stan are Libras.
