Will convinces Jack to aid a local gay-bookstore owner to save his store from closing. Meanwhile, Grace's first design job after her divorce is for a young, obnoxiously-in-love newlywed couple. After a few conversations with the couple Grace decides she cannot do the job because she cannot bear being around them. Karen decides to help Grace out and completes the job for her with an uncharacteristic flourish. Grace can't bring herself to give Karen any credit for the job that Grace couldn't bear doing herself, resulting in Karen quitting her job as Grace's assistant.

The line "Britney Spears Federline, a gym!" was put into the script at the last minute, two weeks before Spear's marriage actually happened. They were guessing she wouldn't have another 48 hour marriage and the joke would fly through. Thankfully, it did.
Does the bookstore look familiar? It should. Warner Bros uses many of its sets over and over again. Aside from this store design being used once before in an episode of Frasier, you'll notice the left wall looks a lot like the coffeeshop we see in several episodes.
Will: You open? I'm looking for a book about a gay guy who feels real bad about himself.
Linus: (Pointing) That whole wall over there.
Grace: It's good to be back. Alder & Walker, Walker & Adler.
Karen: Honey, don't say your name next to mine. Makes mine sound Jewie.
Grace: Well yours makes mine sound drunk.
Karen: Wow... Right in the nuts.
During the End Credits, Erinn Carter's credit has her character name as "Alex," but Grace calls her "Katherine."
Karen said she never cashed any of Grace's paychecks. Wrong. Karen cashed all she had earned from when she started up to the point in the season 2 episode "Polk Defeats Truman."
Karen says she's been working for Grace for 9 years. WRONG! Check back to season 1, she'd only been working for Grace for six months. Which would put her at close to 8 years.
In the first bookstore scene, there's a guy in a grey sweater in the back looking over books. Watch closely as he's always looking at the same book.
Linus: If I miss the Bold And The Beautiful I become a raging bitch.
The Bold And The Beautiful is a long time running soap on CBS about the fashion industry.
