Will & Grace: Kiss & Tell (2)

After his first day, Will becomes suspicious of his new job -- especially when he finds himself in an empty office with no co-workers, a German shepherd and a Russian-speaking thug. When Will confronts his new boss Malcolm, he discovers a startling secret about an old friend. Meanwhile, Grace quits the hotel design job when Tom can no longer hide his feelings for her. At OutTV, Jack has been promoted to host of his own show, "Jack Talk," and is reveling in his newfound celebrity until the network tells him to split the spotlight with his new co-host -- Karen.

Episode Notes
This episode was part 2 of two episodes, and was the Seaosn Seven finale.

Will joins Malcolm's office to help children, instead transferring large sums money between the Cayman Islands and Russia. In the episode's cliffhanger, we find that Malcolm is working for Stanley.

The original opening to this episode (when it was a half-hour) was the morning breakfast between WIll and Grace. The credits should have entered when Jack leaves after giving them quotes.

Episode Quotes
Will: Look, something weird is going on here, and I wanna know what it is!
Malcolm: Nothing. There's nothing weird going on here.
Ned: (Russian accent) Malcom, the package has arrived.
Malcolm: Um, Will, could you excuse me for a moment. I have to talk to uh... Hank from Accounting. (They walk outside and start talking Russian) Neyt! NEYT! (Malcolm shoves Hank down the hall, walks back in.) I apologise for that. Hank wants to go home early to pick up his kids from soccer practice.

Malcom: Truman starts today. Yeah, he has no idea what we're doing. He's way past hook. He's in the net and on the way to the cooler. It's a fishing metaphor, the cooler where you put the fish? Hey could you hold on for a sec, it's gonna sound like I'm hanging up but I'm not.

Karen: (To Jack) No honey, this is your thing. If we do everything together, then what are we?... Will & Grace... And that's just sad!

Malcom: I work for the government. We are protecting a very important individual who has requested your services. He wants your help.
Will: Who?
Malcom: Open that door and find out.
Will: Why don't you just tell me?
Malcom: Well that wouldn't be very dramatic now, would it?
Will: Ahh you make a good point. (Will walks over and opens the door) Oh my God... Stanley? You're alive?

Episode Goofs
How would the announcer only know to announce Jack to the audience if Karen only just got fired? Wouldn't he introduce both of them?

At one point, the morning paper is split into three sections on the dining table. When Jack walks in, there's only two pieces with no one touching or moving them around.

Cultural References
Karen: Jackie, don't make me laugh, I'm gonna wet myself.

A quick and funny reference to The Sharon Osbourne Show, where Sharon would admitt frequently on the show that she wet her pants while laughing.

Malcom: Well I guess we all feel a little jumpy and unsafe after Martha Stewart's release.

A quick reference to designing empire head Martha Stewart, who was found guilty of illegal trading. She was released after 6 months for good behaviour.

Jack: And I promise I'm going to start every show with a little signal just for you.

A quick reference to "The Carol Burnett Show." Burnett always used to tug her ear as a signal to her grandma.
