10/10 (1 Vote cast)
This is the second episode of Will & Grace to be broadcast live on NBC. As with the season premiere there were two shows. One for the east coast, and one for the west coast with different jokes in each.
This episode takes place entirely in a large Guest Bathroom at the Walker penthouse. Much like the first live episode was shown mostly in Will's apartment. There is no way to do multiple sets on a live audience in under 30 minutes.
For those of you who didn't get the swicthover from watching the end credits, here's how the mess was cleaned up. They made the mess on a set to the right. Then when Shelley walked in, she went over to a second set that was clean on the left while the cast talked. When the camera switched to her finishing up cleaning, the rest of the cast walked over to the clean set.
Beverly: Well, well, well. I walk in on a naked man, a man in his underwear, and a woman who needs to leave. (Looks at Grace)
Will: Beverly, this isn't a good time.
Beverly: And I'm saying it could be.
Karen: Honey when I free you I'm giving you forty-TWO acers and a muel. No, a pony. No, a cat. Nah, I'll keep the land, you can get a trick cat that can ride the pony, you'll make a fortune.
During the bathroom fight, Sean and Debra crack up several times. In fact, you hear Debra laugh into her mic before she says a line while they're both hitting Eric with stuff.
Debra almost breaks character and cracks a smile just after Sean delivers the William Hurt insult.
Jack: It's worse than that. Karen uses Costco brand shampoo!
A quick reference to mega-store giant Costco.
Grace: Gee, I wonder who, Mrs. Roper.
Jack: Yeah, well... I don't get that Three's Company reference.
A quick and obvious reference to the show "Three's Company."
Jack: You know what I see when you talk? William Hurt in a wig!
A quick reference to actor William Hurt.
