Episode Notes

This episode features 80's duo Hall & Oates, who weren't ashamed to poke fun at their own careers. Especially Oates, who has been satirized as the less talented one for many years.

Episode Quotes
Will: So look, I don't want to do this either. So why don't we just go inside and tell them we just want a simple thing, and with just us.
James: (Walks out of elevator) Hey guys.
Will: Or we march my very hot boyfriend into that apartment, and show him off in front of all of my friends.
James: Sorry I'm so dressed up Grace but, uhh, Karen can be very persuasive when you're in the tub, and she's there with a toaster and grament bag.

Karen: Hey, Tall and Oates. I'm not paying you two to stand around. Guess I should have hired Men At Work. Maybe you should get in there and pick up some dirty plates.
Hall: I can't go for that. Oh, no can do.
Oates: (Picks up a money jar) Whoops! Now you gotta put a dollar in the Old Lyric Jar.
Hall: (Puts a dollar in the jar) You and that jar, sometimes I think we're never gonna have that pizza party.

Grace: Okay, I'm ready.
Bobbi: Oh dear, are you alright? Your make-up's so think, I can't get a read.
Grace: At least mine doesn't come off in one piece.

Will: My god, you looked incredible.
Karen: Well thank you Will. You're not looking too bad yourself.
Will: I was talking to Grace.
Karen: Yeah? Well screw you, you ungrateful bitch!

Episode Goofs
Why is Ellen there by herself? If her and Rob decided to get back together, why isn't he around for the reception?

Where was the Justice Of The Peace? Throughout the episode, he keeps appearing and disappearing from the apartment.

Cultural References
Karen: Okay, I just came up with that, just now!

Karen makes "comedic" references to the films "Runaway Bride" and "The Wedding Singer."

James: As around the sun the earth knows she's revolving.

A couple of references are made towards Stevie Wonder inthis episode, including his songs "As", "Spersticious" and "Ebony & Ivory."

Karen: This is a wedding, not the "Ellen" show.

A quick and funny reference to daytime talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres and her emmy winning show.
