I watched this because it was the second part of the crossover with CSI. I actually liked this episode better. It took an interesting look at the kidnapper/murderer (though, to be fair, CSI, as the episode titles say, was more about finding who he was, not why, so it was necessarily going to be more factual), as well as his sister.
There was also a few funny moments: Elena going "You mean *questioningly gestures down*?" when asked to show Grissom the lab, Grissom's reaction to Samantha's 'Nam joke.
The poor kid in this episode: his father kills his mother, he finds out his father's not dead but a serial killer and rapist, and gets kidnapped and threatened by his father.
I liked that the show ended with the notification of the parents of the kid from six years ago. |
