While most of the other muses continue to bother Jaye in subsequent episodes, the wind-up penguin is not in any other episodes.

Episode Quotes

Jaye: What if we're too late? What if he's already beat her to death with a bag of oranges for withholding trick money?
Eric: Well, if she had any trick money I don't think she'd be living in a barrel. I know I wouldn't be.
Jaye: Yes, but maybe she's just a lazy whore. That happens, right? They can't all have hearts of gold and good work ethics.

Jaye: I’m not a liar! Not in this instance anyway.

Jaye: I didn’t pretend to be your friend, I was forced to be your friend. Those are two very different things!

Karen: Catholics aren’t bad people, they just do things differently.

Man in train station: I remember thinking, “If Johnny Cash had been born an Irishman, his music would have been more lilting.”

Jaye: Did you Agnes of God her? Yeah. I bet he Agnes of God-ed all over her!

Karen: Tupperware is not an eating vessel.

Katrina: I was wrong. You're not hearing the devil. You are the devil.
Jaye: Just so we're clear? Calling a girl the devil in front of the boy she likes? Not the best way to keep a friend.

Episode Goofs

The flag on the cop’s uniform is backward. When on the right sleeve of a uniform, the blue field should be to the right (front).

Jaye: Did you Agnes of God her? Yeah. I bet he Agnes of God-ed all over her!
Agnes of God is a play and movie written by John Pielmeier which tells the story of a young nun impregnated by a priest.

Title: "Wound-Up Penguin"
"Penguin" is a slang term for a nun, and Katrina is certainly wound up, with her spiritual crisis and doubts.
