While opening the store early in the morning, the Barrel Bear and the Lovesick Ass start giving Jaye instructions on what to do. She soon realizes that Katya, a Russian mail order bride, is the one she is supposed to help. Unfortunately, the prospective husband that Katya came to America to marry is only thirteen years old, and with more than enough problems of his own. Eric decides to help Jaye on the task, which leads to feelings of jealousy and forces her to confront her true feelings for him.

Don Knotts (1924-2006) was an American comedic actor best known for his roll as hyperkinetic, over reacting sheriff Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show. Jaye is hinting that Eric was over-acting.
