Zorro (1957)

Zorro (1957)

This tv version was the first attempt by Walt Disney's company to create a tv series around the character of Zorro. Zorro originally appeared in 1919 in a series of stories in All-Story Weekly, that were later turned into the 1920 book The Mark of Zorro (also the name of the first movie, also released in 1920). Over the years, numerous movies were made based on the character until 1957, when the first tv series was released.

The 1957-1959 series lasted 74 30 minute episodes & an additional four hour-long specials.
