In tonight’s installment, Anderson reports on growing outrage over two congressmen convicted various crimes and still receiving their pensions. As a result of the taxpayer outrage, both the Congress and the Senate are attempting to re-introduce a bill that will stop the pension payments to convicted congressional felons. Also reported on is Congressional Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are warning President Bush that sending more troops to Iraq is a bad idea since it will endanger more American lives. It is also reported on that late Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist was addicted to sedatives while still alive. Lastly, Anderson and colleagues report on how church employees have been stealing from collection plates, while in “Keeping Them Honest,” citizen groups are working on making Politicians in Washington accountable when it comes to their pet projects.
