I love reality television and I watched every episode of this show. This team of incompetents fumbled their way through every aspect of the mission and along the way demonstrated just how unlikeable they are as well as lacking in any idea of planning and execution.
The opening episode was just an introduction to the crew and their 'history' as unemployed and in debt with few prospects for the future. The subsequent episodes were filled with repetitive and sometimes agonizing reiterations of their dire financial straits and dilemmas of their own creation.
I am sure the producers were hoping to develop tension and create drama but the 'dangers' were so overstated that I was left hoping that some real threat, perhaps a hurricane would hit and blow these clowns back to Alabama.
Their 'leader' Tim, is a thoroughly unlikeable and useless individual whose only merit seems to be that he funded this fiasco. The rest are an assortment of confused whiners who make ridiculous assertions that never come to fruition. By the time the final episode had come to an end and they were all busy congratulating one another on a 'job well done', I was hoping that these men are not representative of the good people of Alabama. I know I have no interest in seeing any more of this melodrama of the incompetent. Perhaps the cast could make cameo appearances on the Duck Dynasty show and learn how to combine slick marketing with genuine humor. That would make me happy, happy, happy!!
