Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather is a British sitcom about sisters Tracey Stubbs (Linda Robson) and Sharon Theodopolopodos (Pauline Quirke) who are brought back together when their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Sharon, who lived in an Edmonton council flat, moves into Tracey's expensive house in Chigwell, Essex. Their next-door neighbour, and later friend, Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph) is a middle-aged married woman who is constantly having affairs with younger men.

The show originally ran for 9 series on BBC from 1989 to 1998. It then went on a national theatre tour in a new production starring Robson, Quirke and Joseph in 2012 revisiting the lead characters lives were the series left off. In 2014 the show returned after 15 years for a new series on television, however this time it aired on itv.
