Episode Notes
One of the most audacious and successful escapes from the real-life Colditz actually involved a tunnel which started in the office of the German Regimental Sergeant Major. Working over a couple of nights, the prisoners of war ripped up the floor under his desk to work on the tunnel which led down to the clothing store. Here six escapees disguised themselves as a fatigue party and then boldly walked out of the castle along the sentry path.
