Episode Quotes
(After entering his jail cell)
Jed: I'm Jed.
Gentle: I know we do have radios in here too you know.

Female TV Reporter: Do you have anything to say to the news?
Archie: I do, but there might be kiddies watching!

Gentle: Hey, man, hows the outside world?
Jed: Weather's lousy.

Jed: But there's no money left in any of my bank accounts to pay for anything? And even if there was, I couldn't fulfil my contractual obligations because I'm in jail. And I can't get out, cos I can't afford the bail! That it?
Roxanne: That's it.
Jed: So I'm up shit creek in a barbed wire canoe!

Jed: Eeh well, I didn't expect all this when I invited youse lot doon here. I'm sitting here without the price of a pint in me pocket. It's embarrasing.
Archie: Divven't worry aboot it, Jed.
Jed: Divven't worry aboot it? My manager's been topped, the finger's been pointed at me and I'm on bail for dealing drugs!
Archie: I take it back.

(When Jed recieves a fax from Paradigm)
Archie: That's not from the lottery people I take it?
Jed: It's from my record company. They either want an album, or their money back.
Omo: We could have a whip-round?
Jed: Four hundred grand? That's an awful lot o' whippin'!

Archie: Have you still got your passport?
Jed: Yeah, but I've gotta hand it in to the court.
Archie: But you haven't handed it in yet? Down to Dover, on the bike, with the skid-lid on so's nobody would recognise you...
Omo: ....through the tunnel late at night, on the ghos train, nobody aboot...
Archie: down through France, on into Spain...
Omo: What's he gonna do when he gets there?
Archie: Sing for his supper? Plenty of that on the continent, strummin' in bars.
Jed: Bit of a comedown from Wembley Arena.

(Jed is telling Gentle about how all his money has been stolen)
Jo Jo: It wasn't your money!
Jed: What?
Jo Jo: They weren't your songs! Where'd ya think they come from? All those riffs and those licks? You think they fell off the trees or somethin? Or out' the atmosphere? No! You stole that shit! From him (pointing at Gentle), from me, and every other black man who paid for them over the years, with his tears, and his pain, and his life.

Jed: I've got to find out who it was that stitched me up, and why.
Walter: He never had a motorbike did he? The bloke from The Fugitive?
Omo: Couldn't ride with just the one arm could he?

(After seeing Roxanne)
Omo: I'd love to shag her!

Episode Goofs
When Jed accidentally assaults the police officer, a reflection of a camera can be seen on Jed's crash helmet.

"Troubled Man"

In this episode, Jed is remanded in custody because of being found in possession of cocaine. Even though he was set up by Connors. He is granted bail, but the sum of £100,000 must be met, Jed can't afford it. Pep later bails him out, however Jed is then arrested on suspicion of jumping bail, and then accidentally assaults a policeman. Jed is then sent to prison.

The episode title fits well because throughout the episode many things occur and it shows the Jed is a troubled man. He is firstly set up, and arrested for possesion of cocaine, then ends up losing Pep's money for alledgedly jumping bail, and then sent to prison. Jed is a troubled man, indeed.
