Diagnosis Murder

Diagnosis Murder

Diagnosis Murder is the comedy crime drama about Doctor Mark Sloan (Dick Van Dyke) who is a police consultant for the same police department that his son Steve Sloan (Barry Van Dyke) works for. His colleagues at the hospital are Doctor Amanda Bentley who is a medical examiner (Pilot - Cynthia Gibb/ S01 E02-S08 - Victoria Rowell), Doctor Jack Stewart (Pilot - Stephen Caffrey S01 E02-S02 - Scott Baio (from Happy Days)) and later on Doctor Jesse Travis (Charlie Schlatter - S03-S08). Through a witty and light sense of humour mixed with drama and suspense, Diagnosis Murder managed to pull in large audiences for eight years and is frequently repeated on television.
