Equal Justice

Equal Justice

The lives and loves of the members of the Pittsburg district attorney office served as a basis for this series that was like a sort of a small-scale LA Law: Arnold Bach, the district attorney, was essentially an honest man although always dependent on the politics that had placed him in his position; Gene Rogan, his right hand man and head of the Felony Bureau, who secretly longed for the job of his boss and was even capable of going against him to get it. Jesse, Gene's faithful wife; Linda, the perpetually distressed lawyer in charge of the sexual crimes unit , Peter, his kid brother and public defender and Michael, the top prosecutor of the department. Like in LA Law, several characters of the staff had romances among them, but unlike Steven Bochco's show, this series did not obtain the required public support.
