See what the government is doing... This harmful substance is now being dumped into our water supply without any limitations. Large corporations should be ashamed of themselves. Just look at all the dangers caused by this substance! DHMO is dangerous, spread the word.

The dangers of Dihydrogen-Monoxide include:

-The substance is a major component of acid rain;
-Contributes to soil erosion;
-Contributes to the greenhouse effect;
-Accelerates corrosion and breakdown of electrical equipment;
-Excessive ingestion may cause various unpleasant effects;
-Prolonged contact with its solid form results in severe tissue damage;
-Inhalation, even in small quantities, may cause death;
-Its gaseous form may cause severe burns;
-It has been found in the tumors of terminal cancer patients;
-Withdrawal by those addicted to the substance causes certain death within 168 hours;
-Nevertheless, governments and corporations continue using it widely, heedless of its grave dangers.

See, would you want DHMO in your drinking water?

ONLY POST IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS SUBSTANCE WOULD BE DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE BANNED....

This has been done before. A lot infact. A few other people have tried banning it, but it never seems to work for some reason.

But it's unfair, I'm only aloud to say it should be banned? Fine, ban it, I don't want anyone dying over this stuff.

You know, I was outside the other day and some dihydrogen monoxide landed on my face. I was wet for more than a few minutes. I tried to remain calm, but it's hard when something that deadly is on your skin. I didn't feel any burning, but it's probably because it had seeped into my pores causing a temporary delirium. God save us all.

of course it is, it is the technical term for it.... the thing is.... no one seems to just think about what you are saying. Dihydrogen Monoxide, the -ide means it is diatomic, the Di- means two, and the Mono- means 1.... thus Two hydrogens and one oxygen... hmmm... water!

Its just funny how many people you can trick. Most figure it out, especially if it is in text form.

As I say...
The existential myriad instantaneous production of dihydrogen monoxide will lead to the downfall of society.

I knew that, I'm in a chem course this year. Anyone who didn't know that smells like carbon tetrahydride (when not odorless)!
