He aggrevated the poor creature. He didn't have to be there, therefore he didn't have to die. I can't say I feel so sad for a man that didn't know me or appreciated life.

When you look at it that way, it kinda makes him sound like he is abusive to animals...

Sting Ray killing?? I haven't heard of them very much.. Are Sting Rays really mean or was it an accident or something??

Anyways.... Steve Irwin is dead?? That is so sad...

It was an accident....sorta. It obviously got spooked and its barb hit him. It wouldn't have killed him that quickly had it not been for it getting him in the heart. It's only the second stingray death in Austrlia or something.

I'm sure he appreciated life. Maybe that's why he wanted to make the most out of it. He was making a video for his daughter when this happened and all he did was swim over the creature, that can hardly be called aggravating it. The poor creature was on edge because it's tiger shark season.

Seems to me that he was trying to get as much as he could out of life. But, that said, he was playing with fire.

Yeah, He loved animals and was unfortunate enough to be killed by a generally docile creature. Even the most gentle creatures can turn nasty in an instant.

Well if you put it that way, neither do you when you go swimming. Humans are land creatures after all.

Why not? He was filming a segment on sting rays for his daughter's show. Lots of people go scuba diving for footage.

Did he have to be there?
