What did you want to do as a job in the future as a child when you grew up to be an adult? Or if you are still in high school or whatever, what do you want to in the near future? I'll let a couple people answer. This is what you wanted to do as a child, or in high school, and what you ended up doing instead. |

When I was little I wanted to be a meteorologist, but now I work for a school district in their customer support deparment. No where remotely related to meteorology, but still fun nonetheless. |

honestly..I was the only person in school that never really knew what i wanted to do...I mean there was so much t choose from..but inever know....whati really wanted to be....Well now am a detailer who run his own company....Other jobs i had was electriction grave digger mixed cement mover pool cleaner ...the list goes on...... |

When I was a little chubby baby/toddler, I really wanted to be an astronaut (loved astronomy and still does), then I went through a phase where I wanted to be a FBI agent, but then I learned that you had to be a certain height and weight and in shape and then learn 5 million different languages other than French, German and Italian, so I screwed that. Then I got older and I wanted to be a meterologist because telling everything that tomorrow it's gonna ruin your wedding cuz it's gonna rain would be fun but then I learned that you had to use "rocket science" and use a billion calculations to find that out so I had to scratch that off. Then after, I wanted to be a news anchor, and I still kinda do, but then I found the catch--you have to write some of the news and possibly do your own little segment, which I hate, so it's over. |

13 - Present: I'm not quite sure what the career name is, but I want to go into IVF - its a subset of genetics, you test embryos for genetic diseases.

Then it turned into a Swimming Teacher, then a slight skint as a Driving Insructor, then to Primary Teacher and then and for the past 3 years a Maths or History Teacher |

Well, I went through the phase where I wanted to be a cop. Then I wanted to be an actor in Hollywood (that'd be fun, but it's unrealistic), then I wanted to be a cook (still do kind of, but meh), then I wanted to be a lawyer or real estate agent "cause they get paid good", and then I wanted to be a Forensic science technician, but that seems a bit boring, and hard, and there's been times when I wanted to be a teacher. I think it'd be fun to direct a movie though, but for something more realistic, maybe something law or politics related, because I think i'd enjoy that, and be good at that. |
