I have things of larger importance to myself and my family than to those kids. I mean it sucks for them and it would suck to be in that situation, but there's nothing I can do that will help all of them.

His point was you could at least show a bit of f***ing compassion.

If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?

He still isn't getting the point. For one thing, the ads mention "for those who can afford it" which is not going to be everyone or even a good portion of people. I am quite sure the ads are not intended for those living paycheck to paycheck or people with no jobs at all.

"The word is crap. S - H - I - T. Either use the word in it's entirety or find another word" How I write the word s**t is up to me,you & everyone else understood it, so there is no issue...OK
also
"You really shouldn't judge an entire nation of people based on what you see on TV. Unless you have walked in our shoes, you really don't have the basis for judgment. Everybody has their problems and every nation their issues. Including your own"
At least you have shoes to walk in,be thankful of that,
who said I judged an entire nation based on what I have seen on TV?

Life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think.

(corrected your punctuation)

The ignorance of your comment. The ignorance of every comment you have made in this thread. Have you ever donated time and money to children of a different country? It obvious you have no knowledge of how generous Americans can be, and have been, in recent years despite our current economic troubles.

And yes, there was a time in my life when I didn't have shoes.

It's obvious you are judging us all not on facts but on preconceived beliefs based on no real facts. You got some bug up your ass and started to attack us all without reading all the posts and seeing all our stances on this issue.

Which is why you randomly came back at me and no one else in this thread. Do yourself a favor and read every post in this thread, or keep your opinion of us to yourself.

com·pas·sion
Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it.

I am aware these people are suffering and I would love to relieve them of this, but I can't. Forget what I said in the first two pages because I said that jokingly and obviously was not found funny so I withdraw those statement.

Also, itismee, you have judged the country because you've basically just labeled us as lazy, carefree, and the cause of the worlds problems. That's basically what I got from your post in this thread.

itismee, don't take it personal. We just disagree with your comments, not you as a person. Judging by your other posts throughout the site, you seem like a pretty nice person.

He was commenting on what you said on the first page, where your comments were frankly vile and disgusting

No offence taken or meant,I took a fairly one sided thread & turned it on its head, people all over the world may read this thread and having read ALL the posts I think turning the thread back against the way it was going sparked up a more interesting debate on how people from different parts of the world view they're people & countries and they're role in the world.

For the record: I really do like USA ,It's people,& most of all I love the TV...But it's choice of National sports are...lets leave that for another thread lol

I think this was actually a question on the "game show" moment of truth.

To be honest, I find it unfair that while Americans get fat Africans are dying of starvation but I have my own problems to deal with. The starving children in Africa has never been an ongoing concern for me.

I agree what I said on the first two pages was bullcrap, but I didn't mean it. I was going with the flow making a joke that backfired. I guess I don't technically "care" but you know, like I said, I'd love to help but I really can't.

Lets not beat ourselves up about what we did or didn't say in this thread...I'm sure that if we all had a wish,we would choose to end suffering all over the world,

99% of us would anyway
