True story...
Growing up we lived next to a tree farm. The old guy who owned it was real nice, he let us play in his yard. He had a pet turkey, it really wasn't being raised for food. It used to wander into our yard occationally and we used to pet it. My dad jokingly name it 'George' until we learned it was female, then it became 'Georgina'.
We moved away, so we never knew what happened to Georgina, though it survived that Thanksgiving and Christmas.
