Taco John's chicken and potato burrito is superb. It's the one thing that can even compete with Taco Bell. |

Our Taco John's used to have Taco Tuesday -- 3 tacos for $1.00. But then the owner decided to retire and the place closed. Damn. |

Isn't Taco Tuesday 69 cent tacos? Or was that just a special at yours? |

I dunno. The owner sort of did his own thing anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a special here.
They also did the "Six Pack and a Pound" special, which was the perfect dinner for two, but I don't know if that was a local thing too or an actual national Taco John's thing. |

Six Pack and a Pound is awesome. And if you can't finish the Potato Oles then you can lick the sides and throw them at things. |

Take your favorite chili (either homemade or store bought) and a pack of those pre-sized refrigerated biscuit things...flatten the biscuit into a round disc and spoon some chili in the center, then sort of fold the extra dough around the chili and put them in a muffin tin and bake till the biscuit is golden...yummy! |
That sounds incredible.
*NOTE To SELF: go buy biscuits and chili* |
