Not that I'm saying movies shouldn't make you think, but I'd take Snakes On A Plane over another boring straightforward book adaptation like Narnia and Potter any day of the week. It's a fun idea, it's a fun movie, if you don't get it, noone is forcing you to watch it, but it does mean people who do get it have to stomach the "serious" movie buffs from boring us to death with their crass attitudes.

First of all I loved Mars Attacks!!! That was a true farse and a classic. Second of all, I'll take a well made book adaptation over a crappy 'b' thriller anyday.

I'm sorry we don't 'get the joke' but maybe we just don't think it's funny.

Do you judge all movies from their trailers?

To judge a movie?!

No, that's what the other hour and a half is for.

And you say this despite not remotley seeing the movie first. It's amazing how people act this way, it really is.

And yeah, pi cking a serious book adaptaion proves me right about these kind of people detracting the movie, choosing not to lighten up and go to the cinema for popcorn reasons, or to see an action hero in an absurd action peice. What happened to the days of watching Predator I or First Blood Part II? Hypocrites. The lot of 'em, you've all seen those films, which have NO PLOT, NO PURPOSE, and call them modern classics, yet when Snakes on a Plane has the potential to be just that, only aware slightly of it, you take it apart like a bandwagon that's too dated to take seriously anymore.

Eh, if the trailer sucks, the movie will suck. I might sneak in to see it for a few minutes or something, but I'm not gonna pay 8 bucks to watch a bunch of snakes bite people on an airplane ... wtf?

So that means Batman Begins was s*it to me then?

Nope.

So that means The Phantom Menance looked like the greatest Star Wars movie ever?

Nope.

If you seriously think trailers make a movie, you're dead wrong.

Whatever. That's not what I meant. Still though, SOAP's plot sounds pretty stupid.

Trailers should start giving away the huge spoiler type moments in movies, so then people can make accurate judgments about the film.

Who the hell said it was'nt stupid? That's the point, again, you don't get the point of the movie, so you might as well move along

Eh, reminds me of the first time I saw a preview for it. I thought it was a joke. I'm like, is it April 1st?

The point is to have a stupid plot? Meh .. I doubt many people will see this movie. When I first saw the poster at the movie theater a couple months ago, I thought it was a joke.
