I would call her an average actress. However, take away Alba's face, her body and butt and she's a mediocre actress. Heck if I remember correctly, she said a couple of months ago in a magazine that where she said " such a huge feminist, I do want to produce movies on my own that are female-driven and empowering to women. Variety is good. .”
Yet most of the stuff she's done is nothing mind blowing. The only real great acting I saw from her was in "Dark Angel", and "Sin City"... So far she just seems content with co-starring in a big film but not really show much acting wise. At least that's my opinion. On this flick I wouldn't bother with it. |

The film wasn't that great. It was okay. Nothing special. Average performances on both Alba and Cook's part. Not that the script and movie required them too. Or needed it. |

I saw this movie recently and it isn't as funny as I was hoping, Dane Cook isn't terrible neither is Alba but the jokes that the movie hung on didn't really work. Almost like the actors were trying to tell a joke that confused them.
The end credits are pretty funny though, I was sitting in school thinking about it and I almost burst out laughing. |
