Most likely it should.

PS3 should be able to play all PSone and PS2 games.

As for the actual PS3/360 debate, I'll really have to wait until the actual games and system come out. I'm one of those swingers...

NO NOT THAT KIND. I mean I'll change from one console to the other if one console doesn't satisfy.

PS2 always had a better game library than Xbox did. I'm sorry but the only thing Xbox really had were the Halos. I didn't even think the Halos were that good. Although in all fairness, I've only played both of them very few times. I think PS3 will have much better games over the 360 just like PS2 did over Xbox. They got the new Getaway, The new Resident Evil, Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and the next GTA. And the 360 has...Halo 3*-) . Well only time will tell.

*sigh* I wish I has more time for video games like I used to.

I'm going to miss it alot when they stop making PS2 video games when PS3 comes out. I like my PS2 alot, one of my favorite possessions.

I'm definitely a fan of the gaming library that Sony brings to the table each generation, and the ability to play ps2 and ps1 games definitely doesn't hurt. The games I'm looking forward to (unless they get horribly screwed up) are Devil May Cry 4, the third God of War game, Project Offset, and if they make it . . . Gradius VI.

You're whole post is statement thing. Just because Halos were the only games on the Xbox that you felt were good, doesn't mean they were the only games good on the Xbox. I have found love in games that don't sell a million copies or get great reviews. As for the 360 has...Halo 3 comment; once again . .. opinion. I have several games for it and love both of them. Don't judge games until you've played them.

If you mean Resident Evil 5, that's on XBOX 360.

And PS3. Which might look better too, not that graphics really matter...unless you're talking about Shadow of the Colossus in which the graphics make the mood.
