Well, as long as it's going to good use.

Yeah, I loved that tech demo. The fact that it's made by the creators of Indigo Prophecy gives it immediate credit in my eyes; I have complete faith in them.

Watch the video of God hand; it looks unbelievably fun . . . and funny.

God hand looks good. Eb Games has it down for a 10/10/06 release date.

Gamespot seemed to like it, IGN seemed to dismiss it, but I think it holds some promise.

I may get this game if Sony fails too put out any good launch titles.

So are you thinking about getting the PS3 on day one or are you going to wait a little?

Of course. I have everything there in front of me. So easy to download, don't have to do anything, get to watch HD quality vids in 5.1, oh yea.

Microsoft is going to upgrade Xbox Live sometime within the next week. You can download up to 6 things at the same time, Play Games while you download, Music always play even when you exit a game to the dashboard.

They'll have another update in the fall.

Day one, most likely. I'll have sports games and a bunch of good PS2 games to tide me over to spring. I'd rather have the system and know I can use it, than wait and hope to get one later. Plus, I can still use it to watch movies, I guess.

On a positive note, good press finally. Ubisoft is happy with Sony's controller. Ubisoft is making Assassin's Creed. Anything that makes them happy, makes me happy.

Oh, I like the playing games while you download. On some of the bigger DL (demos over 300 mbs) it can take a while.

And I'm all for new Music updates. My 360 is playing music about 75% of the time it's on.

How's the music selection, by the way? One interesting thing I noted in my PSM is that Apple's approached Sony to bundle an iPod compatible version of movies on the Blu-Ray discs so that purchasers could watch the movie at home, or take it with them on the go. If they do start buddying up, perhaps we'll see iTunes on Playstation. Granted, Sony has their Connect service, but I don't know how well it's doing.

I'm getting mine on day one also. I'm afraid to wait after seeing what happened at the Xbox 360 launch. Plus ebay sellers will be buying as many as they can get.

I'm glad Ubisoft likes it. Assassin's Creed is on my want list for sure.

By playing music I meant it's streaming songs from my PC's HD to the 360 and playing them. LIVE doesn't have any kind of music store. It does have its 'Artist of the Month' and a few music videos. Oh, and a live Audioslave vid.

As for Connect, I used it for a week (free downloads). It was ok, but I'm starting to sway away from Online downloads for songs after I found out how shafted the artists are from doing it.

Being able to play music during gameplay is one of the 360's best feature.

Does it replace the ingame music, or just play over it?
