The term "rock and roll" is soooo the 50s.

Isn't it just called rockabilly nowadays? (the Elvis..Carl Perkins-esque people).

Sounds like Rockabilly is just a certain style of rock and roll.

Guitar Hero 4 to have:

- Drums, bass, vocals, guitar
- Create a song. Although these exclude vocals due to storage and possible copyright issues.
- You'll be able to name your song as well as creating album art. After you've done all that you can upload it to GH Tunes where anyone can download it.
- You'll be limited to 5 songs at first. But depending on the ratings you get you'll possibly be able to upload 10 or more.
- The song sharing mode will be in the Wii and PS2 versions also, but GI says it's unlikely that it'll be as robust as the PS3 and 360 versions.
- Create a rocker
- Create a guitar and drums
- All songs will be master tracks
- They don't want to discuss specifics on track listing out of fear of being scooped by the competition. However they confirmed 4 bands: Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime.

And before the Aerosmith edition is even released, Activision announces Guitar Hero: Metallica.

You would think they would take the Rock Band route and release this stuff as DLC rather than new titles, charging full price for something that doesn't even qualify as a full-fledged title. Way to milk it Activison..

Ummm....why? Why not do something worth it, like Guns N' Roses, Queen, or AC/DC?

Metallica makes perfect sense for Guitar Hero, at least more than it would for Rock Band as most of the drumming and basslines wouldn't be as challenging. I just can't justify paying $50 for something like that.

Actually, if GH: Aerosmith has around 40-50 songs, releasing a whole new game actually saves you money. DLC for Rock Band and Guitar Hero is around 2 dollars, so it would cost 80-100 dollars that way instead of $60.

Rock Band DLC = drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. Guitar Hero DLC = guitar and bass.

Rock Band content has a much greater value, not to mention better songs. Besides, the average Rock Band player probably doesn't download $60 worth of DLC. But they can if they want to. If you want to play the Aerosmith and Metallica version of Guitar Hero though.. you have to pay that $50 price tag. You don't have the choice of downloading one or two songs.

I know, but wouldn't the vocals be so much fun? It has a decent guitar solo too.
