Wow. He is one great artist. And when I mean artist I mean artist. He has taken songs and turned them into masterpieces! What brought me to him was "Your Pitiful". Well I just love another called ""Don't Download This Song" which is hilarious.

His new CD 'Straight Out of Lynwood" arrives September 26th!

Sounds like a "We Are the World" parody to me, too. But if it is, he's 20 years too late.

Pretty much the same as me. Although making money off of other people's work is an art-form unto itself. ^o^

Why not call him an artist? I'm just curious. He writes and performs songs. Is it because they're humorous?

I don't know. I only really call serious bands and singers etc artists. I don't know why, I guess I'm weird like that.

So, in other words, you just don’t know what an artist is.

Yes I do know what an artist is. But for some reason I don't regard novelty artists as artists. They are technically, but I don't think of them as artists. It is stupid but it's something I do.

I don't think it's a parody of any song, but I could be wrong... it's happened before.

It may be a style parody, like "Dare to Be Stupid" (which parodied Devo's style). It may be a style parody of the classic African debt relief charity singles (see the above "We Are the World" comment).
