I was speaking in generality, not from the perspective of a fan that owns every piece of music they've written.

I own a Zeppelin album here and there but not their entire discography. So I would much rather listen to the stuff that you don't hear everyday.

I'm sick of Zeppelin's "classics" that everyone knows. The stuff that you hear on the radio, commercials, movies, the well-known stuff, etc. I went through the same phase with Pink Floyd years ago. The stuff that you have to dig deep for is the best.

I did the same thing with Black Sabbath, Steely Dan and even the Beatles. My fav Beatles song is Tomorrow Never Knows.

I only like a few Beatles songs. I don't even consider a lot of the Beatles stuff as "rock." In my opinion, the first ever "rock" song was Satisfaction.

I know about Revolution . Thats one of their later songs. It came after the Stones did Satisfaction and Get Off My Cloud. Revolution, Come Together, Strawberry Fields, and some others are rock to me. But I Wanna Hold Your Hand, All You Need Is Love, Love Me Do....those types of songs are not rock to me.

I think those were pop. They did make a lot of pop rock too.

On an unrelated note, I think I'll add Black Dog by Led Zeppelin to my list of favorite songs.

Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil, always has been for me, but certainly not because of the movie "Fallen", which by the way is a great movie.

Probably my favourite Stones song. No Merry Clayton in that video though.

I don't know how anyone can decide on a single favorite song, there are so many to choose from. I could probably make a list of about 10 or 15 of my favorites and I could claim that any one of them is my favorite on different days of the week, lol.
