Wow, I was thinking that a thread like this should be made Nice work Ryan!

Alan Melvin died last Thursday. He was a well known character actor and face in the acting world, having played Sam "the butcher" on Brady Bunch, Barney Hefner - Archie Bunker's neighbor on All In The Family and appeared many times on the Andy Griffith Show as a bad guy. He was also the voice of Magilla Gorilla (that's for Gina)

RIP George W. Bush 1926-2008 - He choked on another Prezel j/k

It's going to be strange watching the new Batman Movie knowing that the actor who plays the Joker Heath Ledger is dead.

He died, how sad! I thought he was really cool as Sam the butcher and that lovable gorilla Magilla.

Well it's a good idea but is Christian Brando really worth mentioning? No.
Most people will not even know who the hell he is except he has Brando in his name. I wonder categorize him as famous then. Likewise he was a piece of crap druggie who murdered his sister's boyfriend. He was just a waste and mentioning him is a waste of space and he should have rotted away in prison for the rest of his life.

        ------------------
Cheyenne told Christian that Drollet had been abusing her, which was a ploy for attention with little basis in truth. Christian, himself fueled by alcohol, then shot Drollet in a drunken rage, later claiming it was an accident. In January 1991
        ----------------------------------

Brad and Heath's death was tragic, Christian's was not.

I feel the same way. For one, he was not a celebrity, his father was. And two, no one would know his name if he wasn't a murderer.

It isn't about tragic deaths though is it, it for those who are worth mentioning. We can't just not include people or mention them just because they did evil things in their life

But is he a famous person? People die everyday do they make the news? Yes and no. Back to my point you mentioned that the person had to be "famous". He wasn't unless you mean "infamous". I mean will we add O.J. death to the list someday? Not trying to bash you Ryan.

I'll just repeat myself in a different way. If it makes the news, he must be famous.

I had no problem with you adding his name, I just won't lose any sleep now that he is gone. In fact, I'd have more feelings towards a dead bug on a window.
