Now a third well-known name has died today, this time in crime author Dominick Dunne, father of actor Griffin Dunne and the late Dominique Dunne (Poltergeist), who was murdered by her abusive boyfriend.

The WORLD'S oldest person has died. Gertrude Baines, who was made famous after voting for Barack Obama in the presidential race last year. Gertrude was born in 1894, that's 115 years ago for those who skipped math class.

The new oldest person in the world is Japan's Kama Chien, at 114.

Yeah, he's been in many old series and I figured that some people would recognize his picture.

It's pretty amazing he lived as long as he did. Diagnosed in January of '08 and the median survival from diagnosis is only three to six months.
