The voice of Wide World of Sports, Jim McKay has died at the age of 86. He was the guy who opened the show with "The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat"

I liked the fact that he didn;'t kiss ass and didn't mind asking the tough questions. Too bad.

Aw..this really sucks. Tim was a great guy based on what I've seen, and during his interviews and whatnot, he was always fair, and like marvelfan say, he wasn't afraid to go there and ask the tough questions. During the annoying Obama/Clinton coverage, he never really took a side, and made watching the news enjoyable. RIP.

Has anyone seen Randy Quaid? I always thought he and Russert were one and the same.

Wow, I never noticed how much they resembled each other. When I was watching the news last night all the reporters were speaking very highly of him. May Mr. Russert RIP.
