You did see the apostrophe after wrestling right? All those things I mentioned, uh, are related to wrestling-big name, steroid use and politics. Hogan had the reputation for being a politician in wrestling. You also do know that the term politician has more than one meaning right? I hope that clears things up for you.

I would have understood completely what you meant had you used correct grammar. You should have said Hogan was one of wrestling's biggest names, steroid users, and politicians. Instead you used singular which said that he was both a wrestler AND a politician. I was responding to what you DID say not what you meant to say.

No you wouldn't have because you seem ignorant of the definitions of what defines a politician. You are pointing out a rather trivial point whether I used singular or plural the intended meaning is still the same you just didn't "get it". Even by your correct grammar you acknowledge that you do recognize NOW that the word politician doesn't mean literally someone involved in politics something which you couldn't figure out in your original post:

"wrestling's biggest names, steroid users, and politicians"

Even if I said it like that with the plural noun given the fact it doesn't change the fact that my meaning is very easy to understand you didn't know that a politician doesn't literally mean someone involved in politics

"instead you used singular which said that he was both a wrestler AND a politician"

And that is what I meant, so you do get it now, not a day or so ago . You're using the argument that had I used t a plural noun your understanding would be better when in actuality this seems to be more an example of you not having a bigger vocabulary of definitions to cover what a politician is so for your reference:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politician

"Any person influencing group opinions in his or her favor can be termed a politician"
