The previous thread from the last year (http://www.tvrage.com/forums_viewtopic.php?mid=2&fid=9860) seems to be forgotten, so I'll start a new one:

API search for unicode strings is not working properly.

For example, if I'm searching for "герой":
http://services.tvrage.com/feeds/search.php?show=%D0%B3%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B9
I get 2 japan shows instead of 3 russian ones I was looking for:
http://www.tvrage.com/search.php?jumpMenu=All&search=%D0%B3%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B9&searchin=2&button=Go
(searching on the site itself works fine)
