I've noticed a few spelling and grammar mistakes as I've used the site, and I thought I would put them here so, hopefully, someone who can make such changed will see them. It might seem sort of nitpicking, but some have been really annoying me, like the repeated misspelling of 'automatically'.


Editor Application Sent:
Your application has been successfully sent and we be reviewed as soon as possible
It should say: Your application has been successfully sent and will be reviewed as soon as possible. With 'we' changed to 'will'

About TVRage:
In the Search window enter for example "ep buffy 7x22", this will redirect you directly to that episode in stead of the main show page
'Instead' should be one word, not two.

Person Editor Application Accepted:
Contributions Will Updated Automaticly
'Automaticly' should be spelt 'Automatically'

UBB pagep:
Will automaticly Determin Width if image exists
Automatically should be spelt as above and 'Determin' should be spelt 'Determine'
Will "hide" the text, will be visable when highlighted
'Visable' should be spelt 'Visible'

My Schedule:
(Include Yesterdays Schedule)
'Yesterdays' should have an apostrophe before the 's'

Two colons for some reason
AirDate
Should have a colon, as all the rest do

Editor Settings:
(Note: Approvals not approved within 36 hours will automatically become available
There is an opening bracket but no close bracket and for some reason on person editor settings automatically is spelt wrong again, but not on show editor settings

General Forums:
Please report any bugs or errors you might of encountered here
Saying 'you might of encountered' is very bad grammar, it should say [you might have encountered'


Also, I don't know if this is intentional, or if it's just me even. But on the forum for a show I edit, someone has posted a topic and it doesn't say (Editor) under their username. Does that happen with everyone on the forum for the show they edit? Or is it just a random mistake?

Yeah ok it is already on the second page, but there was a spelling mistakes topic already -- in the Help & Support forum tough.

But it would be better to continue this thread and let the other one rest, not that there are two topics acitve on that...

On the show forums, it will only say 'Editor' under the name of whoever is the editor for that show.

'alias' should have a capital letter, it is the name of a show.
Exact Information: Only shows that matche exacly will be given.
Match and exactly are both spelt wrong.

It says no entries for January on every month with no entries, instead of "No Entries Found For November" etc.

Submit Recap:
Notes: A Recap needs to be a full description of what happend during that episode
'Happened' is spelt incorrectly.

Currently No Pending Contributes Waiting
Not sure about this one, but surely it should say:
"Currently No Pending Contributions Waiting".

Friend List:
Add Member in your friend list
Rather bad English there. It should read: "Add Member to your friend list".

Britain is spelt wrong, there should only be 1 't', and it shouldn't say "/ England", that is likely to severely annoy Scots and the Welsh.

Yes, I do. That's why I haven't listed things that I would say are spelling mistakes, like 'favorite', without a u in it. All the things listed are things that are wrong in both British and American English.
