Um, don't worry Guy...everyone is entitled to make mistakes once in a while. And hey, 'Bama is still ranked rather high!

Dang, now you can't say that you've gone through your life without ever making a mistake.

Oh, and hey Guy, wanna know who my favorite former 'Bama player is? Not Rolando McClain (I think the dude's a moron), but Ken Stabler.

Mine is Joe Namath, from Pennsylvania.

Would you believe me if I were to say that Bryant told Madden that he thought Stabler was a better quarterback than Namath, Guy? Though I did read that in a book about the Raiders in the '70's, and the author of the book sounds like he's a Raiders fan, so he might be a little biased.

I would believe you, but I liked Namath because he was so flamboyant and a ladies man.

Don't worry, I'm not knocking you for liking Namath. Everyone's entitled to like whichever athlete they want.

Stabler played for Madden for 9 years and won Superbowl XI. Stabler had a longer career, more yards, more touchdowns, and a better career quarterback rating. I am not surprised Madden said that.

Madden didn't say that, it was Bryant (Alabama's coach) that did. What sucks is that it looks like Stabler won't be getting into the HOF anytime soon.

Wasn't Stabler kind of an asshole? Maybe that's why, but not fair if his talent qualifies him.

This coming Saturday (Sept. 1) Alabama vs Michigan in Texas on ABC. Looks like it should be a great game and is the first of 3 possible losses for Alabama. LSU and Arkansas the other two.

I truly doubt the the Tide will lose 3 games this year but LSU is sure a likely loss since they will be out for revenge after the spanking they got in the BCS game last year.

Here is an article that most Michigan fans have already have seen I'm sure.

I liked this quote about Denard Robinson: "if he has the game of his life".

Yeah, that's likely to happen.

That same web site has another story title "Why Denard Robinson Won't Have Spectacular Senior Season".
