I heard Colin Cowturd this morning say the owner of the Cleveland Browns should offer Saban 10% ownership of the Browns to come coach for 5 years, then GM for 5 years. Do you think Saban will stay at Alabama?

I do, Saban is a god at Alabama because he has total control of the football program. Why leave that? He has no money worries and besides he extended his contract last spring until 2020. He has said he's happy at Alabama and isn't leaving.

I take it that's Auburn's logo for the 2010 winner, right?

That's right Calicow, pretty amazing that the state of Alabama has 4 BCS trophies in a row. It'll never happen again.

Certainly is impressive. And you mean that they're not going to get a record fifth next year? I'm surprised that you have no faith in 'Bama, or a least Auburn's team.

LOL I really meant that Auburn will never get another Championship. They are 'Bama's arch rival, But I am glad the Aubies kept the BCS at home in Alabama.

I do think Alabama will be in the running again this fall. Unless "they" can find some way to omit them. A lot of SEC fatigue and jealousy.

The new AP top ten.
1 Alabama (SEC)
2 Oregon
3 Ohio State
4 Notre Dame
5 Georgia (SEC)
5 Texas A&M (SEC)
7 Stanford
8 South Carolina (SEC)
9 Florida (SEC)
10 Florida State

I can't believe that ND is above Georgia and Texas A&M.

They won't be if Kelly leaves. Three years at Central Michigan, 3 at Cincinnati, now 3 at ND. He might be getting restless.

BTW, Ohio State doesn't belong above those schools either, not till they improve drastically. I don't see that happening with these non-conference opponents next year: Cal Golden Bears, San Diego State, Florida A&M, Buffalo (WTF?).

Maybe it's because ND made it to the BCS Championship game against 'Bama while Georgia or Texas A&M didn't? Granted ND played like they didn't bother showing up in Florida for the game, but at least they made it that far.

Kelly moves around a lot so I guess that means he's gone, or gets a big raise from ND.

I'm not sure about Ohio State, Meyer is a great coach.

Yeah, you're probably right; but Georgia and Texas A&M (!) gave the Tide a better game then ND did.
