Think they can kick LSU and Fla. butt to play in for the national championship? Or do both teams have really strong offense?

Oh, um...what does RTR mean?

I think it's very possible 'Bama will lose one or both games.

Crimson Tide is a nick-name I guess. It's about the red colored algal bloom in the Gulf of Mexico that kills everything in it's path. Thus RTR is a shorthand of Roll Tide Roll.

From Wiki: Of particular note are harmful algal blooms (HABs), which are marine algal bloom events involving toxic phytoplankton such as dinoflagellates of genus Alexandrium and Karenia. Such blooms often take on a red or brown hue and are know colloquially as red tides.

Looks like my alma mater, Appalachian State, finally awoke from their doldrums. They killed big conference rival Georgia Southern 52-16 last Saturday while amassing 712 yards of total offense. Considering that our backup QB had nearly 200 of that I'd say the offense was clicking. Next week they try to complete the South Carolina Triple for the first time in school history. Even two of our previous national championship teams never did it.

WOW ! Amazing stats. The Crimson Tide's offense needs some of that.

App State finally completed the South Carolina Triple with a 52-27 victory over Furman on Saturday. It marks the first time in history that they have defeated Citadel, Furman, and Wofford on the road in the same season.

Hey, Congratulations! Road wins are the best.

Alabama plays LSU this weekend and if 'Bama doesn't get their offense together they will lose.

Mad_bucks Appalachian State Mountaineers won their game last Saturday as did Calicow's Fresno State. Buckeyes's OSU also won.

ME's Syracuse lost but they will kick Louisville butt later this week.

My Alabama won a big game against LSU.

if they can even field a team. With 21 players quitting before the season began and nine more injured, they are searching other positions to fill some spots.

The last coach was a pussy cat, where coach Marrone is a wildcat. The players were not used to being criticized and quit...en masse. The latest to quit was their star WR... who is on the Top Ten for the Belinticoff Award. Their best defensive player tore up his knee last weekend and is done.

Well at least it was close, that's an improvement.

'Bama's offense decided to play (for a change) so they beat Mississippi State Bulldogs 31 - 3.

UVa finally fired Algroh, the most incompetent football coach in college football. Unfortunately, Craig Littlepage, the most incompetent AD in college athletics will get to hire his replacement.

Sometimes a professional sports (Superbowl) experience like Groth's doesn't translate to college football and vice versa. Steve Spurrior had that problem as did Nick Saban and now ND's Weis.

I hope UV finds somebody you like.
